When do I need to buy the A3 pack rather than the A4 version?

A customer will only need an A3 map if their site does not fit on an A4 map printed at the required scale, where 1:1000 is urban and 1:2500 rural. Or sometimes people just want to simply show a bigger area around their site to put it in context to the surrounding land, generally for rural sites.

How do I apply for planning permission?

You will need to contact the planning officer at your local council to discuss what type of application is required.
